How To Master Solo Ads Case Study

Overnight Hacks

Before we start, let me ask you something…

If you had bought $500 worth of traffic from a solo ad vendor, that we’ll call vendor A, and made $418 back even before sending any email to those leads…

And if you had also bought $500 worth of traffic from another solo ad vendor, vendor B, and only made $94 back…

Then, which solo ad vendor would you continue buying from?

Vendor A?

Or Vendor B?

100% sure you would run away from vendor B and buy more from vendor A, times and times again.

Not me.

I’m doing the exact opposite, and profiting handsomely from it :)

And in this report, I’ll show you why and how… and you’ll bang your head on the wall for not having thought about this before.

But first, let's have a look at...

The optin page that gives me a 63% average optin rate across my latest 78,000 clicks

It has ups and downs of course…

It can range from a low 50%, to an outstanding 90% optin rate depending on the traffic source.

But on average over a decent amount of clicks, if you call 78,000 clicks decent, and across all solo ad vendors who sent me traffic, this optin page has been proven to work.

Here is how it looks like in all its simplicity:

Do you know why it works so well?

To understand, you need to visualize the lead flow.

Those leads are on your solo ad vendors’ email lists.

They get an email telling them about some opportunity…

You don’t know how the email looks like, and what it’s talking about.

Let’s imagine your solo ad vendor talked about an opportunity that makes $500 per day.

But your optin page says that you’ll show how to make $100 per day.

This disconnect makes it confusing for the person who just clicked that email link.

Confused persons convert less.

But if you use a generic optin page, like the one I just showed you… it then becomes congruent, no matter what the email sent by your solo ad vendor promised.

If he talked about an opportunity that makes $500 per day and, after they click, see your optin page asking them to confirm their email address…

… it all flows smoothly.

Furthermore, this optin page states that the email verification is required, so they will enter the same email address where they just received the email.

Result: You get super high optin rates and real email addresses instead of bogus ones.

Ok, so now we’ve got the smoothness from the solo ad email to your optin page in check.

But what about the remaining part of the flow…

Like… the email talked about a $500/day opportunity but the offer you promote talks about $237 per day!

We can fix this by using a smart bridge page!

Which leads us to…

The child-simple bridge page that dramatically boosts my frontend conversions - and why it works so well

Maybe you’ve never heard the term “frontend conversions”…

When you build a list with solo ads, the flow looks something like this:

1. You send traffic to an optin page

2. Subscribers get redirected to a bridge page or to an offers rotator

3. If you make a sale at this point, this is called a frontend sale, or          frontend conversion.

4. You then send emails to your subscribers…

5. If you make sales from your emails, those are called email backend sales, or backend sales for short.

I love sending my leads to a bridge page after they optin instead of sending them straight to an offer.

This is optional but, when done well, dramatically increases your frontend conversions.

When done incorrectly though, it can decrease your conversions as well.

You should have 2 goals when using a bridge page.

First, as its name implies, you need to bridge the gap between the promise they read about before reaching your optin page (see previous chapter) and the promise made on the offer’s sales page...

And second, you want to increase the attention and interest of the lead for the offer that comes next.

If you send straight from the optin to the offer, most of the time those people will give the offer a quick look, smell the disconnect between what they were interested in when they went to your optin page and what they’re seeing here, and then close the offer page.

That’s a wasted frontend click.

What you really want is for them to spend time on the offer page.

That’s your role as an affiliate: sending people that are ready to listen to the sales message.

With that in mind, here’s one of my best performing generic bridge pages of all time.

It works for any offer that has a VSL (a sales video)... and here’s how it looks like:
Why is it working so well?
Because…

1 - It starts by giving instant gratification. Who doesn’t like to get approved?

2 - It draws the attention of the new lead to the video that is on the next page.

And if they watch the video, they’re far more likely to convert.

You can set the whole funnel up in a matter of minutes!

The single best offer to promote immediately after someone optins

Question: what is better than getting an affiliate commission?

Answer: making a sale that pays you commissions month after month.

It’s you making one single sale, but getting paid again and again, month after month, for that single sale.

Now let me be clear - frontend conversions on monthly recurring offers are lower, no doubt.

If you’re used to having a 3% conversion rate with WarriorPlus or CPA offers, then don’t be surprised if you drop to 1% conversion rate when trying to promote a recurring offer.

BUT… the monthly commissions you get from your sales largely make up for it.

This opens the doors to true passive income.

In fact, my highest lifetime EPCs (earning per clicks) are from the recurring offer below, by a very large margin.

Click here, then optin on the next page - and you’ll be able to clone the entire funnel that works well with solo ads traffic and pays monthly recurring!

The best offers to promote in your emails and how to 5x your email conversions

The best offers to promote to solo ad leads are newbie friendly, non technical, methods.

Forget offers about SEO, Paid Traffic, Advertising, Software etc…

Leads coming from solo ads are total newbies.

They don’t want to build an online business.

They don’t want to learn the skills to be affiliate marketers.

In fact, most of the time, they don’t even know what affiliate marketing is.

They’re not even trying to become rich.

The only thing they want is to make some extra money. Even small amounts.

In your emails, don’t use technical terms, this will only add to their confusion. And a confused lead does not buy.

They want something easy that they can copy. Now.

And even better if it’s done for them.

With that in mind, you have probably guessed by now that the best converting offers for this crowd are offers like this and this.
You can find them on WarriorPlus, Clickbank and CPA networks such as Cash Network (which is my favorite CPA network btw).

It’s a private network, but you can get accepted if you use my invitation link here.

Personally, I prefer CPA over WarriorPlus and Clickbank because even if your leads ask for a refund, you still get your commissions fully paid, unlike WarriorPlus and Clickbank offers where it’s common to be hit with 10% refund rates.

Now that you know what kind of offers you should promote, you probably wonder how to 5x your email conversions.

Easy :)

1 - Email more. At the very very least 4 times a day.

The more you email, the more sales you’ll make.

Don’t worry about unsubscribes - they will happen even if you email 100% value-based content.

I’ve got leads on my list that continue to buy what I promote even after being there for months.

2 - Don’t jump from one offer to another in each email.

People usually do NOT buy the first time they see an offer.

You need to give your leads time to appreciate each offer.

They’ll see it for the first time, and think: “What’s that - another scam?”

They’ll see it the 2nd time, and think: “Maybe… I’ll check it later”

They’ll see it the 3rd time, and think: “It looks interesting”

They’ll see it the 4th time, and think: “Oh I need this!”

The number of times they need to see an offer before buying depends on the person, and how attention-grabbing the offer is (as well as how you preframe them in your emails).

But my point is that if you send offer after offer, without giving each of them enough exposure, you’re missing tons of sales!

The most common emailing mistake I see is affiliates sending one single email for an offer - getting no sales, and switching to another right away because they think the offer is not converting.

You need to change how you think.

Most of the time, it’s not the offer that is not converting. It’s you who did not give it enough time, or didn’t send emails good enough to make it work.

3 - Not all email styles are created equal

Writing emails that have a very high click through rate is easy (when you know how).

But making those clicks convert into sales is another story.

Here is an example of email that will give you an outstanding clickthrough rate, but will very likely result in 0 sales!
Subject: Action required

Body:

Dear User,

You still have one action pending.

View messages here [1]

Sincerely

This is a terrible email copy.

The link sends to a sales page, which is totally different to what the person clicking expected.

In one of my tests, this gave an outstanding 10% click through rate (based on leads) or 28% click through rate based on opens… and 0 sales!

So, if you’re after clicks, then by all means, use it.

If you’re after sales though, you’ll have way better results with an email like this:
Subject: [👍] you're in (next payment)

Body:

>> You are IN

As long as you have access to the internet, you are good to go..

But first, quick question: what payment method do you prefer?

PayPal?

Bank transfer?

Check?

You'll be able to select your payment method after you activate your account.

If you can't find where, just reply back to this email.

BUT, please, do not reply before watching this video until the end.

I have limited time available, and most of the questions you might have are probably already answered in that video.

That email above focuses 100% on making them feel the money in their hands - and selling them on the idea of watching a video to make it happen…

As you learned in one of the previous chapters, making them ready to watch a video is an awesome way to increase conversions.

All your emails should convey that same feeling, and sell that same action.

Here’s another example:
Subject: 62.50 Every...Single...Day... 🤜💥🤛

Body:

Did you see how they're getting all these daily payments?

I thought you should be part of the group too, but I didn't see you there yet.

Instead of you, these guys and gals, who not so long ago were total beginners, are now used to receiving these payments.

I find it sad though that they don't feel the excitement of those payment notifications anymore, but hey... to each his own!

On my end - even though I've been receiving online payments for the past 10 years now, it's always exciting when I receive these cha-ching notifications :)

What about you?

Curious to know how you'll feel after you receive them for 1 straight month.

Anywhoo - make sure you watch this video and join the group asap.

I want to be with like-minded people who still enjoy getting those payment notifications, even when they come non-stop!

If that’s not enough, here’s a 3rd example, just for you :)
Subject: 💰💰💰💰💰 - money everywhere

Just a heads up, so you won't forget

There are still a few seats left...

How to get a totally brand new, unique, and high converting email swipe effortlessly in 15 seconds, or less, every time you need.

Ah…

So you’ve read my emails above… and it looks like it will take time to write at least 4 of those every single day.

I get it.

Well I have 2 good news for you my friend…

1. It gets easier the more you practice 😁

2, Haha… just kidding - you don’t need to practice!

There’s a software that we can train (and that I have already trained) that writes these email swipes for us, at the click of a button!

They’re unique, and they’re converting!

Want to send 8 emails per day?

Just click the button 8 times!

Couldn’t be easier.

Watch how I do it below...

Get the software here (monthly subscription).

There is also a single-payment lifetime option here (that's the one I use)

How to 17x the chances to get placed in gmail’s primary tab instead of the promo tab, without watering down your email sales pitch or writing words with weird spelling

You’ve got a great email and are ready to press the send button.

But as you test it, you see that it lands in gmail’s promo tab.

You tweak the copy a bit, change the spelling of some flagged words, like turning cash into ka.sh and money into m0ney (with a 0)...

Now your email looks like crap.

You test it again though, as you’ve already spent too much time on it…

As per your test, it now lands in primary.

You push the “send” button… and since you’re also subscribed to your own list, you later see that it was sent to your promotion tab :-/

Damn!

All this time spent for nothing, plus your email looks like crap with these weird spellings.

Rejoice my friend… because there IS a better solution.

A solution that allows you to keep your email content as it is, and dramatically increase your chances to land in the primary tab.

What you’re going to learn here is a simple tip that literally costs $3,000.

This is true - hundreds of others have paid this price to learn this trick.

But you’ll get it here because I want you to succeed!

There are several factors that make your emails land in the promo tab, but the biggest one is your email content (subject line included).

If your email talks about deals, money, offers, limited time opportunities etc … the chances are very high that you’ll land in the promo tab.

But look at this…

Let’s say that your email is 300 words long - and very salesy with all the worst trigger-words…

100% chance you’ll land in promo…

But now, if your email size jumped to 5,000 words - with only 300 words being salesy…

What would gmail do?

300 is only 1/17th of the entire email content… just a small drop.

Don’t you think your new email would be put in the primary tab then?

Well - good news - it would :)

The great thing is that you don’t even need to have this extra content seen by your readers.

How?

Just by wrapping it between 2 magical HTML tags, that will make it totally invisible.

These tags are:
Of course you must ensure the extra content is not salesy, as its goal is to dilute the tone of your real content.

Make it unique (don't copy from an existing article). Make it as boring as possible. And if you can, change it every so often.

You don't have to write it yourself either - you can use the same AI tool we used in the previous chapter to have your extra content written for you in no time.

Test it and enjoy!

My all-time favorite go-to solo ad vendors that bring in fresh leads every single day (I’m sure at least one of them will be totally unknown to you)

There is always Udimi - but this is a more specific list:
1 - Jaszdeep Solo Ads (disclaimer: Jas has been my mentor in the solo ad biz, and after he saw how well I did with his teachings, asked me to take over the operations of his solo ad business - but I've been using his traffic way before that)
2 - James Neville-Taylor's Buyers Traffic (The RED HOT PREMIUM BUYERS and not the regular "premium" offering, only the Buyers-Traffic). James is also the creator of the RPM, the funnel with recurring commissions I recommend to plug in your funnel frontend.
3 - Wholesale Premium Traffic Don't be fooled by the price, these guys are some of the best in the business and they deliver a punch for what they are charging! Offering as low as $0.22 per click, it's worth it to let them show you what they've got!

The counter-intuitive, but scientific reason, why tracking your solo ads with Clickmagick or Qliker is a surefire way to take fatally bad decisions - with undeniable stats to prove it - and what to do instead

Don't take me wrong - tracking is crucial.

Without it, you're just playing guess-work, and, sorry to be plain, but you'll guess wrong most of the time.

Now… this will surprise you but…

Using Clickmagick or Qliker when building a list is even worse than not tracking at all.

Instead of playing guess work, you think you get the right data to make informed decisions, but it's all an illusion and here's why…

Remember my question in the introduction of this report?

If you had bought $500 worth of traffic from a solo ad vendor, that we’ll call vendor A, and made $418 back even before sending any email to those leads…

And if you had also bought $500 worth of traffic from another solo ad vendor, vendor B, and only made $94 back…

Then, which solo ad vendor would you continue buying from?

Vendor A?

Or Vendor B?

100% sure you would run away from vendor B and buy more from vendor A, times and times again.

Not me.

I’m doing the exact opposite, and profiting handsomely from it :)

The reason: I track what others do not track… and, because of that, I see what others do not see.

That solo ad vendor "A" who brought me $418 back on the frontend on a $500 solo ad run…

Want to see how his leads performed after 78 days of emailing?

Very poorly!

The red area shows my cost.

The blue area shows my revenue over time… from day 0 (when a lead subscribes) until today.

If the blue line stays under the top red line, then I'm at a loss.

If the blue line breaks the top red line and goes above, I'm at a profit.

Here, you can clearly see that after 78 days of emailing, I'm still under the red-line.

I believe I can still turn a profit… just need to continue emailing them, I'm not that far from breaking even to be honest…

But you know what - I'm not buying anymore from vendor "A" - I leave his leads to others who are giving him GREAT reviews but have no clue what leads they are putting in their lists :)

What about solo ad vendor "B"... the one who brought me just $94 back on the frontend from a $500 solo ad run…

Well, I decided to buy more from him because… look at the results I'm getting from his leads:

Profiting after only 3 weeks of emailing… with no sign that it will stop anytime soon…
His leads are still buying from me after 120 days of being on my list.

Now we're talking!

You see, when you use Clickmagick, Qliker or similar click trackers, you only see the frontend results you're getting from your solo ad runs…

You're blind when it comes to what happens in the emails backend, so you don't know if the leads from a specific source continue buying from you via your emails or not.

Which is the most important part when building a list, don't you think?

The stats above come from my own tracker, called OptinDojo.
It's the only tracker that can show you what really matters - it's built from the ground up for us, email list builders.

Some of the biggest and baddest affiliates (7 figure marketers) in the industry are using it as their secret weapon.

But now I'm spilling the beans lol :)

If you're tired of getting no result with your solo ads, then…

OptinDojo will be your breakthrough!

No doubt about it.
